VRAM storage on El Capitan
I know where to find the computers overall storage, but where can I find the vram storage?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

THAAAAANK YOOOOOUUUU!!! I'm trying to figure out if it's low or something because I'm having trouble rendering text in Premiere Pro. The video is fine, but for some reason the text is blotchy when I render it. My vram says 128, how do I know if that's enough? I assume it is since the video is alright. Just wondering though. In terms of technology I'm basically a 4th grader! 😝
Your CPU (processor) does most of the video rendering. The GPU (your graphics chip) is responsible for drawing it on the screen. 128Mb of vram is very little for the work you're doing. You must be using an older iMac?
Yes, I've had it since 2008. She runs perfectly so I'm not getting rid of her!!! LOL!!! Just started getting into editing a couple years ago, so I don't know the ins and outs of metadata and ram and cards and all that. Thank you for your help! 🙂
And... there is no way that you can increase VRAM on your current iMac.
