Apr 1, 2016 12:43 AM in response to mick kiniryby K Shaffer,If you are referring to the speed of acquiring content using Bing web search engine,
there may be several reasons why the results may be slow. You may have an issue
in connecting to the internet, if by wi-fi or by wire, so that could need troubleshooting.
An Ethernet connection to the internet is many times faster than wire-less.
Usually I've avoided Bing, ever since it tried to be a default search engine as part of
some pseudo-malware scam some years ago, it was slow & was difficult to remove.
My preference is DuckDuckGo search engine, as it does not track my searches.
And for variety of results, occasion to also use google among other choices that
are available by default in your choice of browser. -- I use three browsers.
If the computer is generally slow, you may need to see what is running in there and
consider if you've visited odd sites and installed questionable software by accident
or by design. There may be adware or some kind of malware in your computer if it
is acting slow, and if you installed any 'cleanmymac' product, that can break the OS.
So you should re-phrase the question and add details to better reveal exact issues.
Also please identify the computer, OS X running in it, & other related information.
Good luck & happy computing!
