Q: Saving Purchased ringtones to add to new phone
I have several ringtones that I purchased, on my iPhone 6. I want to make sure I save them properly to iTunes so that when I get my new iPhone I can then transfer them to the new phone. What's the correct process to do this? I have the latest software update on my iPhone 6 as well as on my MacBook air. Thank you.

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201267 - "This feature works only for content bought from the iTunes Store." As of iOS9 it no longer does apps which now must be re-downloaded directly from the Store.
