Q: Can Facetime work with Plantronics Voyager Focus Headset?

Hi All,

I am trying to use my Plantronics Voyager Focus Headset with Facetime.

First let it be said that the headset is configured on my Mac as the input and output device. It works with music, and works also flawlessly with Skype.

But, on Facetime, wether I recieve or send a call with Facetime, the headset makes a sound like three beeps and I can't hear the other party. I can speak and they hear me. I can't hear them.

I'd like to be able to discuss over Facetime and if possible what those three notes / beeps mean.

PS: I asked the Plantronics support and they basically said "well, too bad" so I am hoping you guys can help.
