Using microsoft on my mac.

I need Microsoft Word on my next MacBook Pro.

I have been driven to despair trying to upload my paperback book onto Amazon CreateSpace using Apples pages - tried both old and new versions of pages.

So I must have Microsoft Word on my next Apple MacBook Pro, but will it work? Will it be able to communicate with the rest of the world without all the trouble? For writers of paperback books Pages does not do facing-pages (mirror-margins) any more. Pages is not accepted by Amazon CreateSpace for uploading their paperback books. Pages does not have a facility for setting the 'paper-size' of their books, e.g. setting the size for a paperback book measuring 6" x 9".

So, before I buy a new Apple Macbook Pro with Microsoft Word added, is there anyone out there who has sucessfully uploaded a paperback book manuscript onto Amazon CreateSpace using Microsoft Word on an Apple MacBook Pro?
