Q: I had to buy a new computer 2 months ago with Windows 10 on it. I tried just now to sync some new music from ITUNES to my ipod. THe computer does not recognise it. My playlist library was transferred from my old computer. How do I fix this?

I had to buy a new PC with windows 10 installed. I just now tried to download music from ITUNES to my ipod for the 1st time on the new PC. It does not recognize my ipod. All my playlists were transferred to the new PC. When I go into DEVICES, it says the ipods software is up to date. What do I do???

    Did you install the latest version of iTunes, downloaded here?

    It does not recognize my ipod... 

    In current version of iTunes, the iPod appears in iTunes as a small device button on the horizontal bar.  Here's a screenshot of upper left corner of my iTunes window, with my iPod's device button circled in red.

    You don't see the iPod's device button in iTunes when you connect it?
