Q: Does this work with kindle?

Does uploading your IBooks to ICloud allow you to read the books on your Kindle?

    The majority of ibooks from the iBookstore have digital-rights-management on them which tie them to the iBooks app - you might be able to read free ibooks, and those from publishers who don't include DRM on their books (e.g. O'Reilly) in other apps (whether they will work on a Kindle device or app I don't know, possibly not).

     

    The iCloud syncing mentioned in the page that you posted from is for the iBooks app, not for Kindle apps/devices. You will need to continue to use current methods for adding epubs / PDFs to your Kindle/Amazon account.
