bootcamp graphics driver update problem "windows 10"

On my Mac Pro 2013 (with 2015 AMD D700 graphics cards), running Bootcamp (Windows 10, up-to-date), I am experiencing problems with this week's Bootcamp Graphics Driver update.

Specifically:

* When playing EA's "Star Wars: Battlefront":

* The game crashes occasionally where it used to never do so.

* Some non-game-action screens (such as the after-game scoreboard) flicker badly.

* Even after rebooting more than once, the Apple Software Update program shows graphics driver updates that I just installed successfully to be not installed yet.

I hope this gets fixed, because I would like to unlock the power of the dual AMD D700s in this machine. No foolin' 🙂

Did you create a Windows System Restore point before the upgrade? If yes, rollback to it, and ignore the update, till you get an updated release.

Yes - I have definitely disabled the Windows driver updates, because as you clearly know, they will overwrite the correct drivers, which are the Bootcamp drivers.

Overall, a wish I have is to unlock the full gaming potential of these dual AMD D700s. Graphics on EA Battlefront's game are great, but I would guess that this machine's hardware is capable of a lot more. However, I don't have the time to go into any detailed work to do so, unfortunately.
