I have just bought a Mercedes Aclass car how do I pair my iPhone 6plus with the car, and also with my iPad air

Mercedes has online instructions. You should find them via an internet search for "Mercedes bluetooth." The A class isn't sold in my country so the link I have won't help. Also, I'm not aware of any Mercedes pairing to an iPad but that could be something new.
