Q: how to get iphotos 9 on OS 10.6.8 to export to ipad Pro

I'm trying to set up an iPad Pro 9.7 using older MACOS 10.6.8

I want to download my iPhoto library onto the iPad, but the app won't let me move any files there. It will let me download off the iPad. But not upload.

Any suggestions? Any thoughts that aren't truly kludgy, like downloading to a SD drive 55gb of photos to then upload them to the iPAd?

Help...

The only way you can upload photos from your iPhoto library to your iPad is with iTunes:

Either since all photos or selected Albums and/or Events. If you later want to delete photos from the iPad you'll need to do it in the library and re-sync.  Therefore it's best to sync albums so they can be modified easily in the library.
