In reference to my previous post I had a reply but possibly failed to mention that my MAC computer is carrying the most up to date version of iTunes. It is the new IPAD that i cannot get to update version 12.2.2. I think if it were able to update to that version I could then restore data my old iPad placed on MAC and I would be ready to use. I am quite a dinosaur when it comes to this. Sorry. Any helpful advice?

Hey there K,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like there's an issue updating or restoring your iPad with iTunes on your Mac, and you believe this is occurring because of the version of iOS installed on your iPad Pro.

The article below will walk you through the process of updating iOS on your iPad using iTunes or the device itself.
