Q: Do I have to be subscribed to iTunes in order for just the radio option to work?

is it required that I'm subscribed to iTunes, if I just want to use the radio option?

    Hello Mascara.sara,

You don't need to be subscribed to Apple Music to listen to Beats 1 and other live stations. However, there are additional features that are available to Apple Music subscribers, as detailed below.

    Apple Music Radio includes:

    • Beats 1. Beats 1 broadcasts 24/7 to more than 100 countries. Tune in for exclusive interviews, guest hosts, and the best of what’s going on in music.
    • Other live stations. In addition to Beats 1, Apple Music also features live stations such as NPR News and Culture, ESPN News and Sports, and BBC World Service. You don't need to be a member of Apple Music to listen to these live stations.
    • More with your Apple Music membership. If you're a member of Apple Music, you can listen to curated on-demand stations or create your own custom stations. These stations don't have ads, and you can skip an unlimited number of songs as you listen. You can also add songs that you like to your Apple Music library.
