Apr 3, 2016 9:28 AM in response to jazcanby lejofromrotterdam,I did and it worked. But, when I check with www.icloud.com/activationlock the activationlock is still active!
I fear and suppose that it still will be impossible to repair my IPad.

Apr 4, 2016 12:29 PM in response to lejofromrotterdamby elcpu,If Find My iPad is turned on the iPad, you will need the Apple ID password to turn it off. If you don't remember your Apple ID try the steps here:

Apr 6, 2016 2:46 AM in response to elcpuby lejofromrotterdam,I would turn Find My iPhone off with my my Apple ID if only the iPad was not dead...
As I already stated: the IPad is dead and I have to turn off Find My iPhone.
I removed my iPhone (which is not dead) from Find My iPhone and then I expected, as it says in the manual, the activation slot on the iPad would be turned off as well, because the IPad has IOS 9 on it.
But when i check with www.icloud.com/activationlock the activation lock is still on!
Then I switched off iCloud Drive on my iPhone. Unfortunately that doesn't help either. :-)
Anyone has a better idea?
