Want some Pages/Numbers in iCloud, others not. How?

In iOS, I would like some Pages or Numbers documents to be on my device only (iPhone or iPad) but not in iCloud. Others I want in iCloud so that I can access across all my devices.

Is this possible in iOS?

You can use an alternate method/service in conjunction with a third party app such as Documents or File Manager and possibly achieve that. But with iCloud alone, no.
