The Fcc id is a certification number that says that this particular model does meet certain qualifications regarding the technical operation of a particular device. The IC id is the Canadian equivelant. It is a seal of approval, kind of. From this info, I'm sure you can understand that all alike models of a particular product have the same numbers.
