Parallels Desktop 10 in El Capitan?

I've heard mixed reviews online.. So I thought Id see if anyone here may know for sure.. Can you use Parallels 10 in 10.11.4? If so, can you still lock Windows apps to the OSX Dock.

I just recently picked up my first decent mac (late 2013 iMac) and I'd like to use Parallels to install either XP or Vista to run some older Windows games. I do have Windows 10 via bootcamp, but was wondering / hoping Parallels 10 would still work in the latest OSX.

Thanks!

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 27' 3.4ghz core i5, 2GB vddr5

Check with Parallels or their support area.

I upgraded to 11.

Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac will run on OS X El Capitan (10.11) as long as you are on the latest update; however it is not optimized or enhanced for El Capitan. You will NOT be able to drag and drop files from Windows to Mac or use Windows Applications in full screen*. To enjoy an El Capitan optimized version of Parallels Desktop, please upgrade to Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.

To ensure you are on the latest update of Parallels Desktop 10, please follow these instructions: KB111603
