Q: GB of movies ?? ah no it dont !! HELP !!!!

firstly thankyou for taking the time to read this and possibly help out! THANKYOU,

Ok so my Disk Utility shows i have 45gb of movies ... somewhere. i do have a few movies but not 45gb...

where are they ? could this be an incorrect summary of my storage ??

downloads,movies,music are empty.

Itunes is empty of films

photos has been checked

trash has been emptied.

It is possible that the numbers are incorrect. If they are, reindexing may help: Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes - Apple Support

Hard to say without knowing what is on your Mac but could be correct. Myself, I ignore those numbers on mine as they don't really do anything to help me -- i.e., they are mildly interesting but then what. If you are concerned about the "Other" number (although I don't know of a reason to be) or wondering what it includes, see the following:
