Q: Im using 975 GB of "other" in storage. How can I see other?

Im using 975 GB of "other" in storage, How do I see what other is? Where can I delete files? I get "Start-Up Disk" is almost full.

Do you think you have actually used that amount of space, if not you may want to try resetting spotlight.

In System Preferences>Spotlight>Privacy click the + button and add your HD.
Quit System Preferences. Launch System Preferences, and now remove your HD from the Privacy pane in Spotlight.
this should now start re-indexing Spotlight. This procedure sometimes helps with the display of storage in About This Mac.

You can install OmniDiskSweeper from https://www.omnigroup.com/more to scan your drive and see what is taking up the space.
