Email to icloud.com email address rejected (The following organization rejected your message: mx1.mail.icloud.com)

Hi,


I can email my own email address from work and it is received with no problems.


However when I email my wife's icloud address it is rejected. The failure message is pasted below, and I would appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks. (NB I did initially report to my organisation's IT dept who weren't interested).

This same thing has happened to me and my wife twice in the past week. We send emails back and forth while she's at work.


One email got denied yesterday around 11:45 AM Central, rejected by st11p00im-smtpin036.mac.com


Another email got denied today around 1:45 PM Central, rejected by mr11p00im-smtpin005.me.com


Is this an issue on Apple's SMTP servers? Is there anything I can do?
