Q: Podcasts incorrectly marked as played

Anybody know how i can fix this?

 

For some reason lots of my podcasts are suddenly being marked as played, or downloading because they are new, and then suddenly being marked as unplayed (I haven't been able to find a pattern yet)

 

I'm not sure if this a setting that needs changing, or there is a problem with the app itself

 

Has anybody been able to solve this?

    If you selected to sync podcasts across your computer and multiple devices, then when you play, or mark as played, an episode, it will be marked as played on all other devices.

    ... or downloading because they are new, and then suddenly being marked as unplayed (I haven't been able to find a pattern yet)

     

    Not sure I understand. If you're saying that played and deleted episodes are re-downloaded and marked as not played, then that's a long standing issue that I never found a resolution to.
