My macbook is possessed
I'm experiencing clearly a demonic possession... oh well a sort of.
I keep my macbook alway closed, connected to an external (vga) monitor, a USB hub (with a keyboard and a couple of disks) via an USB-C adapter I've purchased on amazon (well, frankly a cheap one).
The problem is that during the night the macbook keeps switching on, I can see the windows moving (it opens up mission control) and sometimes, if for example I leave a word window open, I can see the text slowly (one line every tot seconds) scrolling.
Now, the mouse is a bluetooth apple magic mouse and the keyboard is an apple usb keyboard. I have unchecked every option I believe could cause the problem: no power nap, no wake up from mouse, no wake up from networks. But still gets problem. I've already reset PRAM and SMC.
The major culprit could be the cheap USB-C, I've never been able to test if the behaviour occurs without external monitor (and USB hub). But don't know how to test it.
As a bonus I also have some (honestly almost frequent) issues with the power. Sometimes the macbook seems freezed when wake up from sleep, and all I can do is to keep the power button pressed. At this point the macbook restart with a totally blank screen. I'm have to switch it on (keeping the power button pressed) at least a couple of times before it starts again.
Really disappointed.
Any suggestion? A good exorcist?
