Q: OK. What kind of plugs are offerred with each 60W MagSafe Adapters in each country?

I bought the 60W MagSafe Power Adapter (part no: MC461B/B) today and, here in Viet Nam, two-prong 220V plugs are used nationwide. However, everywhere I want the 3-pronged, Plug Type G, was the one included with my purchase. This plug type is used in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Belize, Bhutan, Cambodia, Channel Islands. Dominica,Falkland Islands,Ghana, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Guyana, Hong Kong, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, North Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Oman, Qatar, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Saint Helena, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Yeman, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Do you see Vet Nam on this list? NO, you don't. So, in Viet Nam, people have to buy an adaptor. However, in Viet Nam, it is common to use Plug Types A, C and D. The most common kind of plug that is used in Viet Nam is Plug Type C, also called the "Europlug" with two round plugs. Also, there is the Plug Type A and D: with both a round and the Type A electrical plug (or flat blade attachment plug) is an ungrounded plug with two flat parallel pins. Plug Type D is has three large round pins in a triangular pattern.and is not even mentioned as being used in Viet Nam. However, it is used in Viet Nam, BUT, it is rare. They simply don''t seem to include real grounding in Viet Nam at all.

My problem is that the Plug tpe G is NEVER used in Viet Nam; however, Apple only sends the "Malaysian/Indonesian" plugs to every distributor here in Viet Nam!

I do have a solutions that Apple, being a more "green" company, should sell the 60 Watt MagSave Power adaptors without a power cord to the wall and should sell the power chords separately, thereby allowing people to choose what plugs they have in their homes! Also, the connector from the brick to the computer itself is not ecologically friendly for, if it gets worn out, one has to replace the whole brick! So, Apple should make the connector from the brick to the device like they do USB and Lightning connectors!

I hope Apple will listen!
