Q: I need information about Keychain.

I have searched Help in my iMac, and searched here in Apple Support Communities for more information about Keychain. Nothing that shows relates to my query. What I currently have been told is that Keychain links all my Apple devices together. Recently I changed my password. When signing into iCloud, I was again asked to set up Keychain. This time I decided to choose that option. Unfortunately, now I have to enter that really long and complicated Apple ID password every time I turn on my devices. I had no information that setting up Keychain would require me to type my Apple ID password to be able to access my devices. Where can I find detailed explanations about Keychain?

Hi norm123 - Thanks for the information. I appreciate the link. It contained everything I needed to know. Maybe you can help me with something else. I would appreciate how to find the FAQ's page. I have looked for it in support, and I don't see that option. I need further detailed information about Mail on my iMac 21.5. On the FAQ's page I found, Mail FAQ's is not a listed option.

    Hey Rebekah,

What specific things are you wanting to know about Mail? There is a User Guide for most of Apple's apps. You can get to them by using the Help drop down menu. I got to this page by going to the Mail app and then clicked on the drop down menu Help > Mail Help. You will get a pop up window that will be similar to the link below that has the User Guide for the app. You can search for what specific thing you are attempting to accomplish and it will provide info that might be relevant.

Get back to me if this is not what you are looking for or let me know specifically what you are trying to accomplish.

    Take it easy

Ji joe_7399, The information you provided is very helpful. One thing I would like to know is if there is a way to add a note to an e-mail? People send me mail without all their identifying information. It would help me if I could make a notation identifying who the mail is from - separate from their address. For Example: I get mail from a company without the individual's identifying information. Short of setting up a folder in "On my Mac" I haven't been able to figure out how to make a note about the person the company e-mail is from. Any ideas or suggestions? I did think about sending the e-mail to myself and include a notation with the person's name, but I wish there was a simpler way. Thanks for the link.

Working on my sense of humor.

    Hi Rebekah,

That will be up to you. I know in Mail you can Annotate an attachment but will only be for that specifically. You could do something along the lines of Mail Folders for each company or set up mail rules that would have those emails go to specific folders when you receive them. I would use the Help guide to look up things like Mail Rules and Smart Mail Boxes that would help keep you organized with your email.

    Have a good day
