Q: home sharing not showing shared account between Mac/PC

iMac OS 10.10.5

iTunes 12.3.3

WiFi

Home sharing enabled, linked to my Apple ID, no security on what's shard in iTunes, no restrictions on shard content.

home sharing enabled, linked to my Apple ID

 

when I turn on home sharing I never get the "ID" icon in the left hand side of the screen so I'm unable to view my content from computer 1 to computer 2. I've tried:

• Multiple reboots

 

• updating both windows and mac versions of iTunes to latest on both computers.

 

• logging off home sharing and logging back into it on both computers.

 

• Unauthorizing and Reauthorizing the Windows PC

 

• Running the network diagnostic in iTunes which succeeds on both computers.

 

Any thoughts?
