Q: Behringer X-Touch Compact?

Does anyone have experience using the Behringer X-Touch Compact control surface with Mainstage or Logic?

 

I'm currently using a Nektar Panorama P6. I like the controls a lot, and the display is pretty helpful.  But I don't like the keyboard action, and I don't like that every Apple software update breaks the integration between the controller and Mainstage.  Been waiting for a fix for months since Apple released Mainstage 3.2.3 which broke the controller.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Mainstage 3

    I don't use the X-Touch Compact but used to use a BCF2000. Now I use a DJ Tech Tools MIDI Fighter Twister in its place and LOVE it! Highly recommended.

    I went ahead and picked one up 2 weeks ago, and it works beautifully.  Just add it as an input device like any other controller and assign away.  I will say, I was not terrifically impressed with the dial speed of the knobs...if you know a way to increase the sensitivity, I would go ahead and do so up front(I haven't taken the time to see if that's possible).  Also, the button lights appear to be momentary, not latching.  Not sure if that matters to MainStage, but it drives me crazy that they don't stay illuminated.

    I am also having the same choice to be made.

    Nektar Panoram P6 or Behringer X-Touch

     

    Is it possible to assign Plugin Parameters to the Faders on the XTouch ? How about the Encoders ?

    HOw does that work ?
