ical won't recognise .olm file to import

Hi I am trying to import my microsoft calendar into ical, but when I go to the import screen it doesn't recognize the file to import it so I can't click on it. The file is an outlook for apple file.

Can anyone help as I can't get outlook to export it as anything else

Have I missed something that is blindingly obvious?
