Computer is bound to Active Directory, logon window only shows local accounts

Hey Team,

I'm hoping some users here have some experience with this. I'm using a brand new MBP and have pre-staged it into Active Directory. Using the logon options under Users and Groups, I've bound the Mac to AD and that went swimmingly.

However, the issue I'm having now is that I've the computer will not allow me to log into it with an Active Directory account. At the logon window at startup, it only lists local accounts (even after I changed the option to display "name and password boxes".

To make things more weird, if I use fast-user switching and select "Login Window..." from the drop down, it will allow me to use an "Other" account which WILL get me into the computer using my AD credentials.

The OS is El Capitan with all of the updates.

Thanks for any pointers and assistance in advance!

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)
