I want to turn on my iPhone's hotspot automatically. How can I do that?
I find that the hotspot turns off after some idle time and I need to go back and turn it on.

The links do not provide a universal mechanism to automatically turn on hotspot or to leave the hotspot in the ON mode.
Is there a solution that works for both Apple and non-Apple devices to connect to my iPhone's hotspot? I would like all devices to be able to find the hotspot when they want to tether to my phone's hotspot without me having to explicitly turn hotspot on after a period of idle time. Is there a hotspot setting that would enable this?

Aside from leaving it on all the time, no.
Thanks. I did leave it on. However, there were no devices connected to the hotspot for a few minutes and then devices could no longer discover the hotspot till I went back to the iPhone hotspot settings and turned hotspot off and then on again.
