WWhen I try to delete an email, it says 'cannot move email to the trash folder'. I don't even see the trash folder.

I have this same problem with my work email. It sends the email to my iPad, but I can't do anything with it except reply. If I want to delete or archive the email, I have to go on the web and do it there. Then I have to double-tap the home button and quit out of mail to get the emails to go away. It has always been like this, so I don't think it's an Apple problem. Did you set up your email through the "Other" option?

As a side note, touch < Mailboxes in the upper left corner of the Mail app, then go all the way down to ACCOUNTS. Touch the account and it will bring up all the folders associated with that email, including the trash.
