Q: How to replace existing Apple TV Siri remote

HHow did you resolve this. I am having the same issue that nothing happens when I try the process to pair a new remote.

Have you tried charging the remote first?

Yes, I have charged the remote, everything is updated in the Apple TV, and the old one has been removed/forgotten from the system settings.

Perhaps the best thing to do at this stage is take it in to a Genius Bar to see if they can pair it, or swap the remote for one that does.
