Apr 5, 2016 10:36 AM in response to NicofromRezaby Kenichi Watanabe,Installing iTunes provides all necessary "drivers" for iPods. First, try installing the latest version of iTunes
Normally, you should install it (as an update) over your existing installation. If that does not help, and your iPod continues to be not recognized properly by iTunes, shut down (power off) your computer and disconnect all USB devices. You can leave standard USB keyboard/mouse connected, if used. If your computer is a laptop, connect its power adapter so it's not running on battery power. Put the shuffle's power switch in the OFF position. Start up computer, run iTunes, and connect shuffle to a direct USB port on the computer, by itself. Is there any difference from before?
If the iPod continues to be not recognized by iTunes, please post back.
