If you are able to get the original owner to unlock it for you, we would be more than happy to help you set it up.

Without the original user's Apple ID and password NO one, NOT even Apple, can bypass the Activation Lock feature.
You purchased a high tech papetweight/doorstop.
If you can return this iPad and get your money back, do it!
If not, the you are out of luck and paid for a non-functional computing device.
There is NO WAY TO CIRCUMVENT user Activation Lock!
