Q: How to customize email text and alarm notifications on iPhone 6 Plus

Currently using Nexus 6 phone running marshmallow everything on my phone is customized. Thinking about switching to new iPhone 6s Plus. How customizable are the iPhones? Also is it possible to listen to a podcast and browse the web at the same time? Thank you for your replies and advance.

    As a general rule, iOS does not allow as much customization as Android, but that's the way most of us like it. Putting consistency, familiarity and good taste above frivolousness, if that's what you have in mind.

     

    To answer your specific questions...

    1. You don't customize general appearance; text font is inherited from the System OS;

    2. Theres a built-in list of different alarm, reminder and system sounds; Ringtones are customizable;

    3. Yes, you can listen to music and audio podcasts while using other apps; videos and video podcasts will interrupt whatever you're doing.
