when trying to sync library indicates zero songs

Performing routine sync, checked Sync Music, which indicated over 5,000 songs, Pop-up states that in order to do this I have to remove and replace music on the iPod Touch because I can only sync to one library at a time. I only have one library. Now when I check box for Sync Music, it indicates zero songs. Library appears to be intact, but will not sync music to the IPod.

You can only sync with one computer/library. For some reason the iPod thinks the computer/library is a different one. To regain syncing wit the computer/library
