Q: my iphone now asks for my husbands itunes log in and has synced all of his numbers to my phone

I recently bought a new Iphone and backed up my old phone before syncing with new phone but now it has all of my Husbands contacts and is asking for his ITunes password and comes up with his email address on my apps settings, why is this. I have looked on my phone and it has got my email address on it and not his so why is this happening? we both have separate Apple Id's and log in's but use the same computer for back ups

It sounds like you used his backup to put back on your phone.

IF you're sharing the same computer, make sure you log him out of iTunes and you log in.  If you still have your old phone, create another backup once you log back in.

then erase your new phone and restore from the backup.

I made 100% sure I was logged into my account before I did anything, My Husband however got a new phone the other month and now I'm wondering if when he synced his phone that he was not logged into his account but mine, and now his details are on my account. What a nightmare. I guess I can just delete his contacts but how do I stop my phone for asking for his ITunes password?

Set it up again, use your account for this.

Don't delete his contacts as it will delete from his phone too,....  you can't stop it from asking his iTunes password b/c you have his apps on your phone.

Do what I said in my original response.

Ok will give it a go - I actually didn't mean that I would delete his contacts from ITunes I just meant from my phone and then was going to back up it up again without his contacts.

    Thanks for replying though
