Apr 5, 2016 9:14 AM in response to EmGemzby lllaass,Stay away for it. If the device has iOS 7 or higher then it likely has Activation Lock
Find My iPhone Activation Lock
and it would. be unusable by that.
I also question the legality of this statement ".That is important because when they impound a car, the items become their property."

Apr 5, 2016 9:17 AM in response to lllaassby EmGemz,Im still unsure as to if its a good idea. When a car is impounded for an extended period of time and goes unclaimed, the items in the car become property of the buisness. I dont know if its a good idea or not. I wanted to get it for my sister because her ipod 5 isnt connecting to internet anymore and doesnt recognize any passwords for our internet even though their right. We´ve reset the network settings several times but it just isnt working anymore.

Apple will not help activate/bypass the activation lock
For the problem with the wifi conectin:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
