Q: Time machine backup - different mounting point
Hello,
I have a disk I use for my Time Machine backup. I "initialized" it while it was connected to my MBP.
How can I make TM recognize the backup while the disk is connected to the USB port of my Time Capsule?
Currently TM wants to make a brand new backup when the disk is mounted from the TC!

You can't. Network backups are in a different format than local backups.
