Q: Need a little bit of help regarding iCloud music.

After updating to the iCloud library it seems that 90% of my paid songs will not sync to my iPhone SE using iOS 9.3.1 and the most recent library version as of April 5,2016. The library has no problem syncing a random 30-ish songs however the other 1200 are not able to sync. I've used a few methods of troubleshooting such as switching to "manually manage music and videos" however this did not seem to help, I've also read if you sign out of the Apple store through the PC it could fix the issue, however it did not. I've also tried manually selecting and dragging multiple songs to my iPhone. I'd just rather not have Apple eat my data plan away when I could load the songs onto the iPhone itself. If there is any way to resolve this it would be greatly appreciated if somebody could help me out who has had the same issue. I recently upgraded from the iPhone 5S where I had the same issue. Not sure if I just missed something in a recent update that abandoned the possibility of syncing a full library or if I'm doing something wrong. When I buy music its usually directly through my iPhone rather than through this store on my PC. Could this have something to do with my issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time in advance.

    Hi Robby,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

From what I gather, you've joined Apple Music and there's an issue accessing your iCloud Music Library on your iPhone SE. After joining Apple Music, you can sync music to your iOS devices by turning on iCloud Music Library as described here:

Sync Apple Music across your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and computer - Apple Support

    Turn on iCloud Music Library

With your Apple Music membership, you can sync your music by turning on iCloud Music Library on all of the devices on which you want to use Apple Music.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. In the Apple Music app, tap the profile icon and sign in with the same Apple ID and password that you use for your Apple Music membership.
    2. From your device's Home screen, go to Settings > Music, and turn on iCloud Music Library.
    3. If you already have music on your device, you'll be asked if you want to Merge or Replace the music. Choose Merge to add the songs currently on your device to your library.* If you select Replace, the music on your device is replaced with your Apple Music library.

    Cheers.
