After updated IOS 9.3.1, front and back camera shows black screen and flash would not work

I just got my old iphone 6 plus replaced for isight care programme in Apple Store, and i updated the new iphone to the newest version of IOS 9.3.1. However, after couple days, whenever i opened my camera for either front camera or rear camera, they showed me black screen. Furthermore, the flash would not be opened even though i tapped the flash bottom or connected to the third app.

I chatted with Apple specialist, and they told me to restore my iphone by using iTunes, However, it does not work for me, and i tried to doubt whether this is a hardware problem which cause the new iphone camera black out. However, there is not any physical damage for this iPhone before or after i updated to IOS 9.3.1.

I am kind of worried in replacing this new iPhone to the Apple store. Because, the specialist told me there may be surcharge for examining for new iPhone.

Hope anyone could extend your hand in helping me!

To resolve this issue, try using the DFU mode:

  • Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
  • Turn off the device.
  • Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds
  • Press the Home button while holding the Power button and hold both for 10 seconds.
  • Release the Power button, but KEEP HOLDING the Home button.
  • After about 15 seconds, iTunes will tell you it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
  • Restore your device

If this ultimate troubleshooting steps doesn't help, a visit to the Apple Store is your only choice.
