Wifi disconnects overnight while plugged in and restarts phone

ive noticed that in the mornings when I first look at my phone, the wifi is disconnected. As soon as I unlock the iPhone it connects again. in some cases, the iPhone crashes and completely restarts to the white apple screen.

THis is started happening recently with iOS 9.3 and it's still happening with 9.3.1.

I would always leave my phone connected overnight so that it would automatically backup and update, but its not happening anymore.

I would have thought about the Wifi assistant that helps choosing the best network between Cellular and Wifi but you say your phone restarts itself...

Have you tried to do a full backup on iCloud or on iTunes with USB (remember to encrypt your backup so everything will be kept ! If not, some data will be lost!) then do a complete restore (with iTunes), then set your iPhone as a new device and disable the WIfi Assistant and see if it's till going on ?

If it's gone, it was a software issue. You can now try to restore your backup.
