Q: insert photo from widget

When I try to insert a photo using the widget Multimedia in the bar I get an option only from Photo Booth, but this application is only for self pictures taking with the camera. What I need is Albums of pictures from Photo instead, but there is no option other than Photo Booth. In don't know how to change this.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues with Photos on your MacBook Air. If you are not seeing Photos content when trying to add photos from a multimedia menu, you may want to make sure that you have correctly designated a System Photo Library, as outlined in the following article:
