    You delete an Aperture library by selecting it in the Finder and deleting it like any other file.

     

    To rename an Aperture library use the Finder as well - click into the name of the library and enter a differnet name.  You can also select the library in the Finder, then enter the key combination ⌘I to open the Info panel. Then edit the name in the Info panel.
