Q: Podcast XML Feed not updating

Hello,

 

I have the following podcast which has ran (albeit with a 2 year hiatus) since May 2009:

The XML feed from talkshoe is: http://recordings.talkshoe.com/rss72195.xml

 

Following our "comeback" show on 22nd March, this uploaded fine. Unfortunately the shows on 29th March and 5th April are uploaded fine and if you are a subscriber come up as shows to download in the iTunes client but do not show up in the iTunes store.

 

In "Apple Podcasts Connect" the feed reads as having various errors. Oddly, a second podcast I have has a talkshoe XML feed was ok a few days ago, showed as error, then was ok again.

 

Can anyone help me? I've emailed Apple who have said they will look into it but that was a week ago and I've heard nothing. The show is a real body of work and we want to continue to use the feed.

    I wouldn't expect the 5th April episode to show in the Store yet - it usually takes around 2 days for a new episode to appear. However the previous episodes of 29th March should have appeared. However there have been instances recently of the Store failing to show odd episodes. All you can do is email them and ask for a re-index - this usually sorts it out. There don't seem to be any serious errors in the feed which might cause this.
