Apr 7, 2016 2:01 AM in response to lllaassby AeroZ,Better to buy a new charger because the magnetic tip has a chip in it so it might mess up your charger and/or your Macbook if you buy a fake cable/connector from China.

Apr 7, 2016 2:16 AM in response to helpmeoutpleazeby K Shaffer,There are a few guides such as those at iFixit.com for macs and related hardware
but due to the complexity and lack of user-replaceable components in MagSafe
power adapters, the suggestion to purchase quality replacement is recommended.
Also be wary of clones and poorly constructed off-brand unofficial-sourced copies.

The actual magnetic head of my macbook pro charger broke, I need help fixing it thanks. I'm talking about what plugs into the macbook, how would I get the magnetic part secured in the charging cord and not stuck in the computer.
The magnet is in the MBP, not the charger tip. The repair is a new one.
Ciao.
