Hi,
Can anyone please confirm the following:
1. Do I need to turn on the "My Photo Stream" in Photos app for my computer to download the photostream in my Mac? Possible to download the Photostream to my Mac without Photos app?
2. I have a found the folder[e.g. ilifeassetmanagement\...] where PhotoStream stores my photos. Will these photos be deleted in that folder after 30 days same as the one in the cloud?
If there are other solutions that could help resolve my problem, please let me know.
Background:
Trying to reduce and optimize data in my Mac with regards to the photos from Photos app and Photostream. It seems to me that the Photostream occupies more space in my Mac since it saves the photo in Photos library and another copy in the folder where photostream stores the photos. I prefer to use LR as a central program to manage all my photos.
Objective [if Possible]:
Automatic photostream download to my Mac but not copied into Photos app.
