Q: Apple Mail can not send email - Office365

I'm Using Apple mail to connect to Office365 Account. incoming mail and folder are fine no worries at all.

When I compose a message and try to send it I get the following message :

Cannot Send Mail

Sending the message content to the server failed.

then the mail sits in the the folder "on my computer"

same settings work on my other Mac. I've tried deleting config removing Library \ Mail / V3 so that the profile get recreated but alway have the same issue...

Any Ideas?

Hey d_deh,

I understand that you are having issues with sending emails using your Office365 account on your Mac. Let's see if we can get that sorted out.

I would start with using Connection Doctor within Mail. This will test your incoming and outgoing email servers and give you an explanation as to why things are not working. You can even double click on the error to bring you to the exact setting that needs to be changed. Take a look at the articles below to go over using Connection Doctor as well as additional troubleshooting options to get this worked out.
