Q: How to deactivate FCPX to install it on a new machine

I got a new Mac and want to install my Final Cut Pro X on there as I decommission my old Mac.  Do I need to deactivate it or something from my old Mac first before I install it on the new one?

If you're selling it or giving it to someone, just drag the application to the trash and empty Trash, If you're keeping the older Mac, you don't need to do anything. Perfectly OK to have it on both.

edit: As to the new installation, if the older Mac is not connected to the internet (new spelling) it should install on the new one OK.

OK thanks.  I'm probably keeping the old Mac or will recycle it, so I will just trash it then put it on the new machine.  Thanks Russ.
