Iphone 6s unable to restore or update

I've been trying to restore/update my iphone 6s that recently crashed out of the blue. But the process always fails.
below is what i'm experiencing now.

1. Itunes prompt for the restore

2. After clicking the restore button

3. restoring process begins

4. iTunes screen gets stuck at this page (verifying iPhone restore with apple)

On my iphone, It will be stuck on this screen where there is no progression of the restoration bar at all.
after a while, the phone restarts.

5. error occurs and phone restarts. (on itunes)

I have tried the restore in both DFU and Recovery Mode, and made sure that iTunes is fully updated.

Have also tried on several coms with different usb and cables. And still end up with a failed restore.

Kindly seek any advice or solutions to the matter. Much appreciated.

Has the phone been serviced or opened in the past?

Did you check the docking port for any kind of debris or lint?

Did you make sure that no firewall is blocking the contact to Apple Servers?

Since this might be hardware related, you should get the phone checked by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider next to your place, or contact Apple Support to send it in for service.

hi, Nope it is relatively new, only 4 months old. i have tried the same on different computers and cables but all dont seem to work. i am guessing its a hardware problem too?

Yes, looks like a hardware issue. But, since it is still under warranty, it should be no problem getting it serviced.

Any chance I'll be able to recover the files and data inside? I forgot to do a backup

I'm afraid your data might be lost at this point, but iTunes usually performs a backup before the phone is being restored.

Did you check iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, if there are any backups listed?

Same condition after latest update. Just started going to the Logo Screen, but it came back..until it failed to come back and sits on the logo screen bouncing between a dark screen back to the logo screen. It does not restore after the point it said it is downloading with a done button.

How is your phone now ? did you get it repaired ? i got the same problem but mine is iPhone 5s.
