iPad

Q: My kids 2 ipads are disabled,but Itunes doesnt recognise them

Both of my kids have forgotten their lock screen passwords,and I'm trying to wipe them via the recovery process in Itunes.

My PC can recognise the Ipads being connected,but Itunes doesnt.

I've tried the step by step plans,deleting drivers etc but Itunes wont budge!!

Please help me,you're my only hope

Are you running the latest version of of Tunes? If you aren't, download and install the latest version. If you are running the most recent version, have you tried using iCloud to erase the devices?

If you set up Find My iPhone on your iOS device or Mac, you can use iCloud to erase and restore it.

From another device, go to icloud.com/find.

If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID.

Click All Devices at the top of your browser window.

Select the device you want to erase.

Click Erase [device] to erase your device and its passcode.

Now you can either restore from a backup or set up as new.

If your device isn't connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network, you can't erase it with Find My iPhone.
