Time Capsule and Fritzbox!7490

Hi,

I hoppe somebody could help me.

I have Fritzbox!7490 and VSDL. I had used in the past my Airport Time casule 2TB as a router and ad backup drive. After installation of the Fritzbox. I want to use the 7490 only for the phones and the TC as a router. I can't configure both so that they work. If I use the 7490 as a router everything works well, but I can't use the TC as a backup drive. AVM say on there homepage it is possible to connect it to 7490 either via LAN or WLAN. Information either in the handbook or from Apple. I had check both handbooks /TC and 7490) and the support site from apple but I could found anything.

Does anxybody from you has an idea?

You cannot do what you want unless your ISP is prepared to give you multiple public IP or you are now on IPv6 which might be even more complicated.

The TC can indeed work fine in bridge.. and all the clients can backup to it.

You MUST have the 7490 in router mode for the VOIP to work.

Tell me why you cannot backup to the TC in bridge??

I use my own TC as backup without it being the router.. although I do use a slightly different setup called static IP.. however it is still a variation on bridge.
